If you are plotting on building a dollhouse for physically or as a gift there are free plot sources available in several scales. You can find free plans on the web, or hold a variety of traditional front or back opening dolls house plans in scales from 1:6 (for make dolls) to 1:24 or G scale.

Most use book board, Davey board, a dense document fiber board used for book binding, or baltic birch plywood.
